In a statement Chief John Keene said, "I would like to extend my most sincere gratitude to the Joyfields Institute. President Sobem Nwoko and Dr. David Myers are acknowledged leaders in the world of Evidence Based approaches. We here at the San Mateo County Probation Department are confident that, with President Nwoko and Dr. Myers' assistance, we are well on the road to becoming an industry leader in Community Corrections."

Mr. Nwoko further stated, ‘...employees of any organization and their customers seeking supports and services, voluntarily or otherwise, can expect practices that are best in class and proven.  The evidence tells us the team at San Mateo County Probation Department is such an organization and the county should be proud to have such an organization serving its citizens.”
